Introduction

This document is the information notice required by Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and concerns the giochipiu.it portal. The games reachable from the portal run on the Company's own servers under spaghetti-interactive.it domains and are covered by this notice.

1. Data controller

Spaghetti Interactive S.r.l., registered office at Via Braccianense 989, Rome, Italy — VAT 12390011000, REA RM-1370599, paid-up capital €10,000.

2. Where and how data is processed

Processing is carried out by electronic means on servers located in the European Union, by appointed technical staff, under appropriate technical and organisational measures including traffic encryption, access control and regular backups.

3. Data collected, purposes and legal basis

3.1 Browsing data

IP address, date and time of the request, page requested, browser and operating system, recorded in server logs.

Purpose: delivering the service, keeping it secure, establishing liability in the event of computer offences. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) in the security of the service.

3.2 Account data

Email address, nickname, password (stored hashed and not reversible), preferred language, profile picture where uploaded.

Signing in with Google or Facebook provides, through those services, an email address and an account identifier: the Company never receives your password.

Purpose: creating and managing the account, authenticating access, enabling multiplayer and leaderboards. Legal basis: performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).

3.3 Profile pictures

Uploaded images are subject to pre-moderation and remain invisible until approved.

Purpose: profile personalisation and protection of other users. Legal basis: performance of the contract and legitimate interest in community safety.

3.4 Gameplay data

Matches played, outcomes, scores, leaderboards, virtual currency, items owned, friendships, invitations, online presence, in-game messages.

Purpose: delivering the gaming service, compiling leaderboards, preventing abuse and unfair play. Legal basis: performance of the contract; for abuse prevention, legitimate interest.

3.5 Linking pre-existing game accounts

If you hold an account on one of the games hosted under spaghetti-interactive.it, you may link it to your portal account. Linking associates the game account identifier with the portal one.

Purpose: letting you recover your progress. Legal basis: performance of the contract.

3.6 Payments

Purchases are handled by Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. as a processor. The Company neither receives nor stores payment card details: it processes the transaction outcome, the amount, the date and the data required for invoicing.

Purpose: completing the purchase and meeting tax obligations. Legal basis: performance of the contract and legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)).

3.7 Measurement

The portal uses Google Analytics 4. Measurement is subject to consent: until consent is given the tags run in denied consent mode and write neither cookies nor identifiers to your device.

Purpose: understanding how the portal is used and improving it. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), withdrawable at any time.

3.8 Advertising

The portal carries advertising delivered through Google Ad Manager and the partners selected in the consent management platform. Ad personalisation and the storage of advertising identifiers happen only with your consent.

Purpose: funding a free service. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), withdrawable at any time.

4. Minors

The services are not offered to, and may not be used by, anyone under 16. If we become aware of an account belonging to a person under 16, we delete it.

5. Disclosure of data

Data may be processed on the Company's behalf and instructions by suppliers appointed as processors: hosting and infrastructure providers in the European Union, the payment provider, and the measurement and advertising providers.

Data may also be disclosed to judicial or public security authorities in the cases provided for by law.

Some suppliers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, the transfer relies on the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission or on an adequacy decision.

Data is not sold or transferred to third parties for their own purposes.

Under Articles 15-22 GDPR you may at any time request access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interest.

Consent given for measurement and advertising may be withdrawn at any time, as easily as it was given, through the "Manage consent" link at the bottom of every page.

Requests go to privacy@spaghetti-interactive.it. You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).

9. Changes

The Company may amend this notice. Material changes are announced on the portal. The date at the top indicates the latest update.
